System Specs:
Cubase 13.0.30; Windows 11 Pro 23H2; Intel i7-13700K @ 5.1 Ghz, 64 GB RAM; Logitech MX Ergo
I’ve just experienced a weird situation where Cubase stops responding to mouse clicks mid-session, but still responds to keyboard shortcuts and an external control surface. I’ve confirmed that the mouse still operates normally in Windows and other software , just not in the Cubase UI.
This issue occured in a multitrack project after rendering a stereo audio clip into L & R mono clips and had just inserted the stock MonoDelay plugin on the R track. When the delay plugin opened, the mouse stopped responding. I tried recreating the issue by going through the same routine, but Cubase responded normally.
Can anyone else confirm they’ve experienced this? Would like to know if it’s just me or not!
Thanks!
I’m experiencing it too. So far about two or three times only so it’s hard to tell what can cause this.
I have this issue on windows 11.
having this issue now too. I had the mix console in a separate window and i could at least select channels on that one with mouse clicks but nothing else. Even the start screen when reopening Cubase to select a project is having this problem.
Anyone found a cause or solution?
I have similar problems. Only occur in Plug-in Manager whwn trying to sort by name or vendor. I have to click several times before Cubase reacts. Sometimes like 20 times. Extremely irritating
Hmmm… I cannot say what caused my issue and I must admit that I haven’t encountered that specific problem again.
I’m guessing you guys are using the latest update to Cubase 13 - I noticed that when this happened to me, I was using v13.0.30, but I’ve since updated to v13.0.41. I’m not saying definitively this is why I haven’t had a recurring issue with the mouse, but it could be.
