This is a problem from as far back as Cubase 12 or even earlier.
After importing a video, the thumbnail is genenrating. If at the time, an omf/aaf is imported while the video images are being generated, the generation will stop and shows “Missing Thumbnail Cache.” Re-opening the project fixes it. So it’s a minor issue, albeit annoying.
