I get a window that says that – and Cubase promptly shuts down. The bummer is I lost all my work, even though I kept periodically saving. What’s that about? This has happened a few times. It’s not an isolated incident.

Can you say, after what commands/tasks does this happen (Cubase crashes)? Could you attach a crash dump file (located in Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps folder), please?
