I updated all my Softube plug-ins last night and today Cubase won’t open. It gets stuck ‘Scanning VST 3 Plug-ins…’ Anyone run into that?
I have contacted Softube.
It seems to have been an issue with the licenses for the Softube plug-ins. I went back to their portal which got stuck checking licenses. I restarted it and it came up good. Works now!
yes from time to time Cubase gets stuck scanning. restart normally fixes it, but the scanning process can take a long time if you update a lot of plugins. And yes for me the scanning time is longer in v14 than v11 and 12
Yes… but this time it was something between iLok and Softube… but it’s all better now.
