Cubase stuck on loading splash screen since hotfix?

Hey guys, I’m running the 32bit version and wondering if anyone else is experiencing this with the 6.5 update?

It basically gets stuck on the loading splash screen when it says it’s trying to load Reaper (not sure why it would try to load Reaper?). Just a bit frustrated and wondering if anyone else has encountered, I’m going to try and go 64bit, as most the plugs I’ve purchased also go 64bit, however I don’t want to lose a few important projects (of course this happens on a deadline!). Thanks guys.

Temporarily remove all plugs from your VST paths. See if it loads. Then start adding them back a few at a time until it stops working again. You should be able to find the culprit.

I don’t blame you for not wanting to change to 64-bit mid project. However, you can install the 64-bit version at the same time as the 32-bit version and you should (assuming you have plugins installed properly) be able to open your projects with either the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version.
