I took a look at the file. It halts within Cubase, not in any plugin or OS component. I can’t tell more from it.
Usually I would suggest to contact support so that a developer can maybe take a look at it but you are using version 9 and I don’t think there is a realistic chance of Steinberg taking a look.
Did you buy Elements? Or did you obtain LE or AI through some other product as a bundle? You can find out by going to the Help menu in Cubase and clicking “About”.
In case you have LE or AI you probably can get version 14 for free. Just write a message in this thread and include Matthias in your message.
