Cubase SX3

Hi all,
I want to start making music again. I have a copy of Cubase SX3 complete with disk and dongal that I bought about 15 years ago and used for many years. I wonder if it is possible to put this on my much newer iMac, which doesn’t have a CDRom drive.
OR
I wonder if it is worth selling?
OR
If there are any ways to pay to upgrade?

Also, how different is the current version of Cubase now? Will it be like learning a whole new program?

I doubt it would work properly on a new iMac. Though I have no proof of that.

It works fine on Windows 10, since I still run a copy of it.

You can download SX3 from your account, so you don’t need a cd-rom.

You should be able to upgrade to 10.5 from the shop. Which should give you 11 for free, given it is imminent.

The latest, looks quite different, but how I use it isn’t much different to how I used SX3. So it shouldn’t take more than a day or two to get up to speed and then a few weeks to learn the new stuff as and when you need it.

Thank you, that’s extremely helpful and potentially very good news too!

Sorry to sound thick, but I can’t work out how to download SX3.
