Cubase Upgrade/. Do I need a new dongle?

I’m going to upgrade to Cubase 7.5 from Artist 6.

Will I need a new dongle?

How will installation work?

If you already have a Dongle, a new one is not needed. In eLCC, enter the activaction code and the C 7.5 license will appear.

Make sure you first install the latest eLicenser software, then put the C7.5 license on your dongle. After that, install Cubase 7.5. I’m not sure if it’s a standalone installation, since 6.5 was an add-on to 6.0, which had to be installed already.

BTW, Cubase 7.5 won’t overwrite your Artist 6 installation, so they will both still be working side by side.

Thanks.

How do I put the new program on my dongle?

Download and install elicenser:

Run elicenser and click “enter activation code” to paste the serial number you have.

Watch the video from the link above to understand.

Thank you very much for your patience. I really appreciate it.

And that activation code is sent even if I obtain Cubase 7.5 via internet download?

Also, do you ever anticipate serious problems when upgrading via the internet?

You will receive an activation code via e-mail.

No issues here.
