im just interested to know are they uad standard plugin’s with the pcie cards worth while purchasing or will cubase’s compressor ,limiter ,dynamics and reverb hold their own agains’t these uad plugin’s ?
The UAD plugins play in a totally different league compared to the Cubase plugins.
I hardly use any of the Cubase plugins at all. (Reverence is usable. And the gate. But I very rarely use even those)
Besides hardware I most frequently use UAD plugins. But also Sonoris and Sonnox. And Elysia and Fabfilter.
just the sort of news i was wanting to hear as ive manged to get a uad 2 at a bargain price , i certainly will be doing a lot of a+b testing to see the diference .
