I’ve built a pretty large (58 GB) template in VEP 6 and Cubase 10.5.12. I save it coupled, all tracks disabled in Cubase…
My process is to open the VEP server, then load my Cubase template which connects to the VEP template saved in Cubase. Problem being, Cubase is crashing on open about 66% of the time. When Cubase crashes,VEP crashes as well. Sometimes Cubase won’t open at all and the only thing that works is a full restart of my 2019 iMac. Had anyone else seen this behavior?
There are other random crashes throughout a day’s work-not reproducible. Alarming. 10.5.12 is better than the previous two versions, but not professionally stable for me yet.

You would think so, but I removed all Izotope plugs and still get crashes. so maybe I should send you one of those as well.

Nope, user error. I had removed the Izotope vst3 plugins but not the vst 2 plug ins. I removed those, the crashes stopped, reinstalled just the VST3’s, and it seems the problem’s been solved. I can’t seem to edit the topic name (is there a way?) but please mark it SOLVED, and thanks for your help!
