I am trying to update VST 5.0 to 5.1 (or 5.2) for MAC OS9, but the download links on Steinberg are not working (only .iso download links seem to be working!). Does anyone have the necessary files available?

Just download the .iso file and mount it using one of the following tools :
- Disk Utility
- DiskimageMonitor
- Daemon Tools (free Software)
- Terminal
Once the .iso file is mounted, you can click into it and proceed with the install.
Alternatively, you can create a new folder and copy over all files from the mounted .iso if you prefer.
I don’t know anything about the MAC os by the way, but it should be simple enough.
The ISO is V5.0. They already have 5.0.

I thought they saying that v5.1/5.2 were only available as .iso downloads.

Yes, I have already got VST 5.0 working. I used to have 5.1 and I am already finding small bugs in 5.0, which were not there in 5.1, which is why I am looking to update. Really I am hoping to find someone who has managed to download the update files who could then share them, as I cannot get them from Steinberg.
Anyone out there with the necessary files, sharing would be greatly appreciated!

If you didn’t already raise a support ticket I would do so.
I think the number of people that use 24 year old version of Cubase and that also hold update files for them is maybe not that high

Good advice on the support ticket, I’ll give it a go, although I do not know if they will help. Worth a try though. You are right that there are not many still using this, so fingers crossed!
