Cubase VST SE Connect Monitoring

Just been trying this out using Steinberg template for the host and I find everything appears to be working fine apart from being unable to monitor the performer in my headphones during the performance.

I can playback and listen OK after the performance and the performer hears everything OK.

This appears to be something simple I must have missed either volume or monitor button setting on a track.

Wondered if anyone could assist in pointing out what I may have missed. I’m using a Steinberg MR816 CSX interface as host.

Found the answer. I had direct monitoring switched on for the Steinberg MR816 CSX so I wasn’t going through the software.
Turned it off and everything worked straight from template settings.

Did have a few minor drop outs but this appears to be due to fluctuating internet upload speed at performer end. Given a stable connection all should work fine.
