Cubase wrote 0 byte files

Hi!

I did a live recording two days ago. The band played several times that evening and I restarted the recording every time. On of these takes resulted in empty files (windows shows 0 bytes file size). The .peak-files seem to be allright, only the wave files seem to be damaged. Is there any way to restore the audio data?

Regards!

P.S.: Used Cubase 5 on some Acer notebook, recorded onto an external USB drive. “Interface” was the fireface-card of a Phonic Summit digital mixing desk.

Hello Coder2k,

is it possible that the connection (sync) was lost between Cubase and the Phonic interface ? Or did you inserted FX/Presets etc perhaps ?

cheers,

Chris
