I bought Cubase 11 and activated it on November 6, 2021!
Then I found out that the grace period is valid from November 9th.
This is very unpleasant!
Do I have to pay again to upgrade to C12?

Almost certainly you will have to pay to upgrade. There has to be a cut-off for the grace period, which is the announced date.
Contact them directly, they may be turning a blind eye in that case.
