is there anyway of not loading ( or deleting ) cubase13 NATIVE plug ins
i dont use any of them and since there are dozens of them they
must be consuming cpu
thanks
You can hide the plugins from your plugin collections. This is done through the Plugin Manager.
If a plugin is not loaded (inserted into an insert slot) and turned on, it does not consume any resources.
CPU if not loaded? For sure No cpu used!
Maybe some startup time, like 0.5 seconds, maybe. Some RAM? I don’t think so.
But if you insist, you could remove some files from the cubase program folder. On win, in the VST3 folder in the cubase program folder, the cubase plugin set, the vintage set, cuve eq and loopmash. All at your own risk.
thanks for the replies . . .
if they dont use any cpu when not used then i wont gain anything by deleting them
but its a shame they just grey out instead of being hidden . . or can they?
thanks reg
In the plugin manager you can create a custom set of plugins so only the ones you want show up, if that is what you mean.
If you enable the “Hide” check mark in the VST Plugin Manager the plugin is grayed out in the Manager. It is however hidden in all plugin collections, including the default ones.
