Cubasis 2.6: „hanging” MIDI notes (Inter-App Audio)

After upgrading to Cubasis 2.6 (from version 2.5), all my MIDI parts played by Inter-App Audio instruments (i.e. Sample Tank or iSymphonic Orchestra) exhibit infinitely sustaining notes on Stop (as soon as I hit Play for the second time, to deactivate playback), thus forcing me to use the Panic button way more often than I would desire. All the system settings are the same as they were with version 2.5 and there is no Sustain automation data written on the tracks in question. I run Cubasis 2.6 on iPad Pro, iOS 12.0.1.

Does anyone experience a similar problem and happens to know the solution?
