Cubasis 3.6 multichannel AUv3 bug

Hello. Cubasis 3.6 has a bug with multichannel AUv3 modules.
Seems like it makes notes shorten, when I add more than one track for the same AUv3 multichannel instrument.
I record the step-by-step video with titles, where you can see how it works.

Thanks for keeping me up to date!
I continue work on my project but without multichannel AUv3, while bug isn’t fixed.
After the fix I will add Koala + Drambo multichannel.
Glad to help with resolving bugs.
Love Cubasis.

Thanks!
Regards, Roman

Hi Roman,

I m not using multichannel any more.
I m making multiple instances of the AUv3 I need several times.

Every time I tried that it ended up in a mess due to an abnormal behavour of the track.
At the end I deleted all tracks. I made it again and separated afterwards the plunder. (Drums)
Maybe that helps.
But why dont you proceed with the frozen track?
Does the added track also behave that way?

Cheers
Tim

Hi Tim. Thank you for the advance.
Using multiple instances of the 1 AUv3 plug-in instead of the one multichannel AUv3 instance, is not memory efficient way.
For an example: I have DigiStix2 + my own kit. Cubasis 3 lets me to play drum patterns directly on pads. Then I redirect BD to the 1 channel, SD to the 2nd, HT OH - to 3rd.
The major idea in this case to play pads, and manage kit.
BD channel I will use then for sidechain compressors.
I don’t need to clone 1 drum kit 4 or 5 times.

I love the freeze function, but I use it when I am sure that my pattern or melody is good and I want to have WAV file of it, to be sure that some iOS update or other update doesn’t destroy something.

Another case: I preferred - to use Drambo multi-channel session, instead of 8 Drambo instances… It helps me to manage Drambo instruments as 1 “session” file. All Drambo channels mixed then in Cubasis very easy.

Cubasis multichannel AUv3 feature is great. I want to help to make Cubasis better, because I am trying to use it as my primary DAW. I invest my time in this. I hope I help Cubasis team to polish this promising DAW. I like it.

While multichannel AUv3 feature has bugs, I will try to use the way you described, to make my draft tracks. Thank you for the help!
