Cubasis 3 (iOS) timing issues during mixdown

Using Cubasis 3, I tried the new global settings but kept them on default 120bpm, 4/4. I was time stretching, cutting and aligning some vocals (audio). Global settings were toggled to off. When global settings were toggled on, all the timing of clips went haywire. When toggled off and mixed down, timing issues remained. I deleted the global tracks from the project, however, glitch persisted during mixdown. Basically if I play it real-time it works, but during mixdown it fails. I have tried real-time mixdown but it still creates the same result. I’m at a loss, other than putting global tracks back on and cutting, stretching, realigning everything again.

I was wondering; what happends if you freeze the time stretched track(s)?

Or even Settings > Mixdown/Freeze > Real-Time Mixdown and Freeze, this mixes down in real time so go make a coffee whilst you wait :+1:

So real time freeze/mixdown didn’t work. I simply had to reset the time stretch and do it again. This is some kind of bug though as disabling the global tracks should have worked.

Hi @Colin_Zammit,

thanks for your message.

Could you provide us with a simple project and clip example that demonstrates all steps leading to the issue? This will help our engineering team reproduce the problem and hopefully resolve it.

It would be very helpful if the examples are as easy and minimal as possible.

Please upload the files via Dropbox or a similar service and send me the download link via PM (you’ll find my contact in PM as well).

Thanks,
Lars
