Please have a look at the “Adding Audio Tracks” chapter of our “Getting started with Cubasis” tutorial, to learn how to create decent audio recordings with Cubasis:
Please let me know if this helps to resolve your problem.
This has been a problem for years and it’s not just headphones…Bluetooth speakers as well, only way around this without havinto close the app and all that other crap…you need AUM APP… NEVER any issues with Bluetooth audio just open AUM then load cubasis in the app and that’s it no audio issue👍
Hello Lars, maybe we communicated via email, but I have problem with setting of sample frequency in Cubasis on iPad. I need 44.1 kHz, but Cubasis says iPad doesn’t support it or another app is blocking it, so freq is set to 48 kHz. But if I use app Kaiser tone for example, I can change freq to many possibilities as I need. Can you advice me pls how to solve it pls?
I purchased the URC44C today, very excited that the product was designed to work on IOS. Half a day latter with a non functional system I read the forums and realize Bluetooth is a massive issue on Cubasis 3 LE.
I am using an iPad Pro with air pods Pro and I want to only use these devices. This is the modern world, not the 90’s. Apple devices don’t even have headphone jacks anymore.
When air pods are connected it blocks all other audio channels and there is no sound at all for live audio, but there is sound for playback. Remove air pods and connect a $10 set of wired headphones and all works perfect.
With Garage band BT air pods work perfectly, just not in Cubasis.
It is very clear reading this forum this is a long term issue that has been ignored and not rectified.
My solution will be to either return the UR44C, as IOS is clearly is not supported on Cubasis or I need to use GarageBand.
You guys really need to sort this issue out and stop pretending it is not a problem.
On android [galaxy tab s7] the only time earbuds give a problem if Active Noise Canceling is ON.
I dont know if ios pods have a similar function but if so, turn it off.
Thanks for your message and a warm welcome to the Cubasis forum!
Please use the following steps to use Cubasis 3 with the AirPods Pro:
Please connect your AirPods Pro to the iPad
Launch Cubasis and go to Setup/Audio and enable “Bluetooth / AirPlay” by tapping the corresponding button
If the problem persists, please go to Setup/Project and choose (or reselect) the matching sample rate of your project.
Important Note:
Please note that connecting wireless headphones bring lots of system-related latency, which will make it hard to record instruments in real-time.
Please let me know if this helps to resolve your issue!
No luck just like everyone else. I haven’t seen anyone post that they fixed the Bluetooth issues in this forum, only that the suggested fixes didn’t work… The sample rate is not allowed to be adjusted on my version. I need to pay for the upgrades which I am obviously not going to do when the product is already defective.
As mentioned, the headphones are working on playback just not live, plus when the headphones are connected it sees them as microphone 1 and locks out all other microphones. If I disconnect the Bluetooth headphones all the microphones become available again.
In garage band headphones work for playback and live and all microphones are available all the time. It is getting all info from the same hardware with the same USB C Cable, but the CUBASIS software is just now compatible.
After suffering unbearable latency and other issues (like from the OP) when using Bluetooth headphones, I just spent $9 on the 3.5mm headphone adapter for my iPad Pro. I will use that when I’m not at my home base. At my home base, I’m using a Scarlet 18i8 audio interface with two headphone jacks on it (I also use a 2i2 on some occasions when I don’t need my extra hardware). I’ve given up on BT with Cubasis.
I having the same problem with my Ipad Pro (2021), audio is running slow, I tryed every posible solution and when it works, it works for a moment. If I close Cubasis or open a new project, the problem comes back.
I’m not having this Issue with the rest of Apps in standalone or running with Garage Band.
First of all, please note that using BT phones and devices with Cubasis will be improved in the next Cubasis update (which might take some time, until being ready to be released).
For now, these steps work to use your BT audio devices with Cubasis 3:
Please connect your BT audio device to the iPad
Launch Cubasis and go to Setup/Audio and enable “Bluetooth / AirPlay” by tapping the corresponding button
Go to Setup/Project and choose (or reselect) the matching sample rate of your project.
Important Note:
Please note that connecting wireless headphones bring lots of system-related latency, which will make it hard to record instruments in real-time.

Hi there, having issues not all my audio channels recording inside Cubasis. Am using a RME UCX2 interface with a Motu 16A attached with 8 Adat channels. Sample rates are in sync. Low latency to minimum ( have no option to turn off) I have selected the routing for all individual tracks. When I play any sound on my external gear I hear them, i see levels on ucx2, when rec ready them inside Cubasis I get no input, no levels no monitoring.
