As we know, Cubasis is on a juicy markdown during the Steinberg summer sale this month. I’d love to hear from Dorico for iPad users who also use Cubasis about your workflow between the apps. Also, does buying Cubasis give me access to its instrument sounds and FX inside Dorico?
Unfortunately at the present time there’s no way to access the sounds and instruments in Cubasis in Dorico for iPad, though this is something we are interested in enabling in future, perhaps through the use of Audiobus or a similar technology.
You can send MIDI back and forth between Cubasis and Dorico for iPad, but that’s about it at present.
