Cubasis .all files HELP!

Hello everyone

Was wondering if you could help with a problem I have. Around 1997 I worked a lot with Cubasis and a bit of cubase and have shed loads of files I would like to get access to. However these are all saved as .all files which I believe is no longer compatible with Cubase. Does anyone know of any way of getting access to them?

I have considered rebuilding a windows 98 PC complete with soundblaster gold card and trying to get hold of an old cubase programme to install. But that seems to be going a bit far.

My main ambition is to open these files (which were a combination of midi and .wav files) save the midi files as seperate files and rebuild the songs on the mac. I have seperate .wav files to slot it once the midi files are saved and imported to whichever programme I buy for the mac.

Any help or advice would be very welcome

If you are still on Windows or OS X 10.6 or earlier (I believe), you can download Cubase SX 3 from the Steinberg ftp and use that to convert the files. (I’m assuming it can open Cubasis .all files…)

It’s located at in the Cubase 4 directory.
