With the advent of the new Bay Trail Intel x86 processors and the roadmap for these devices in 2014/15 – it would make a lot sense for Steinberg to develop a Cubasis version for Windows tablets using this H/W. They already have the x86 code from Cubase and the touch design from the iPad Cubasis.
Imagine having actual USB 3.0 ports, Micro SD cards, real networking, x86 plugin support, USB audio device support …
I have an iPad air with Cubasis, but would switch to an x86 touch version if that ever happens.
