Cubasis licensing for Microsoft MDM device

Hi all!

I have a user with an Android phone which is managed through Microsoft Intune MDM. I need to get a full copy of Cubasis running on their phone but would appreciate some assistance with the licensing.

Microsoft has removed the ability to add “paid for” apps through the managed Play Store. The only way to install them now is via a .apk file. We have successfully got the trial version installed but we’re unable to upgrade as it bumps back to the store where we cannot pay for it.

I was wondering if anyone has come across this previously and what steps we might be able to take to work around it?

Cubasis for Android is only available via Google Play.

There may be options to link or use Intune-managed accounts together with Google Play accounts to enable purchases, but this is outside our scope. We’d recommend checking Microsoft Learn resources and/or reaching out to Microsoft or Google for supported setups.
