Huh, i am the first one requesting this feature here…
Akai MPK MK3 mini and others have an option to set the behavior of their endlees knobs. So the options are:
- Absolute
- Endless
There are no issue for absolute (except the options for scaling or pickup in Cubasis). But scaling and pickup options (just like in Ableton) would be very usefull.
But there are no support for endless encoder option by Cubasis. And as i use my Akai for 2 setups - Ableton as stationary - and Cubasis as mobile - i would like to have an option for Cubasis to support endless encoders setup - so i dont need to reprogram my Akai every time (cuz it cannot be done via movile setup).
Any advises, dear developers? Any suggestions? timelines for that feature?
P.S. In case if you are not familar with Endless Akai encoder option - Akai repeatedly sends defined CC message with a value = 127 if the knob is turned to the left side. And Akai repeatedly sends defined CC message with a value = 1 if the knob is turned to the right side. So Cubasis and Akai users need to have an option fo flag the behavior of a knob in Cubasis - wheather it is Absolute or Endless.
