Im basically making a beat and trying to create some groove by shuffling notes off the grid, but when i turn off the grid the notes are still moving in pretty big increments. What is currently the finest possible resolution, and can it be improved?
Last time I checked I calculated 48 parts per quarter note (ppqn) on Cubasis, which is the highest resolution on an ios daw to date. If you needed 96 ppqn, i suppose you could try the double tempo trick.
