Cubasis. problems with midi clock

I’m having problems with midi clock that’s being sent out to my Yamaha Montage. I’m using CUBASIS (latest version) on my ipad and completely randomly the tempo on my Montage wil go up/down by 1 step but the CUBASIS clock/tempo is set and stays constant. This is causing me real problems with timing and is an absolute pain! I’ve recorded a short video that I can send if this helps showed the problem

Hi Lars,

I’ve attached the short video showing problem with the midi clock being sent from CUBASIS to my Yamaha MONTAGE

You’ll notice that it goes up/down by 1 ???

I’ve sent midi clock to Yamaha MONTAGE from my hardware sequencer QY700 and this has no problems at all

Hi @Jon_Scott

Please give the following settings a try:

  • Setup / Audio / Set the latency to the lowest possible value (e.g. 1.3ms)
  • Setup / Audio / Disable multi-core (usually not recommended, but in your case it might help)

Does this help resolving the issue?
