Have a great weekend
& best wishes,
Lars

Hi Lars,

I’ve installed the new importer and Cubasis 2 no longer opens in Nuendo;–I don’t have Cubase.
I’ve enjoyed seamless imports until now.

I tried opening several projects (even one I have previously imported) and the following happens every time:

Nuendo opens to an empty window with no project loaded.
When attempting to open the project I get the invalid project file window.

I’m running the latest Nuendo with a new clean just installed Windows 10.

Thanks,

Leonardo

Hi Leonardo,

Thanks for your message.

While Cubasis official project importer support is given for Cubase Pro/Artist 8 + 8.5/Cubase AI/LE/Elements 8, the importer should work with Nuendo also, however has not been tested and is not officially supported.

Nevertheless I will have a talk to our testing to give the issue a repro begin of next week and get back to you.
If possible, please let me have the exact version numbers of the Nuendo and Windows version in use.

For the time being, I’d suggest to re-install the previous Cubasis Project Importer 1.9.5 which provides project file compatibility with Cubasis 2 also.

Thanks,
Lars

Lars,
Thanks for the rapid reply.

Nuendo 7.1.20 on a new clean install of Windows 10 Pro.

Hey Lars,

I just realized I’ve been forgetting that I have to IMPORT the project via menu rather then icon clicking…fire out, all working.
Thanks again for the quick response.

Glad to hear!

Best,
Ricardo

Hi Leonardo,

Thanks for updating the issue which helps to save our time.
I’m glad to hear the project importer works as expected with Nuendo.

Best,
Lars
