Cubasis style event blending in Cubase

In Cubasis, after freezing a midi event to audio with a tail, and copy pasting it to loop, the tail of the first event blends with the second, creating the perfect blend so you never hear the restart of the loop and no need for a X fade.. in cubase, one event plays and if the tail overlaps with the beginning of the pasted copy the second event doesn’t play until the tail of the first event ends..

if I X fade, the volume of one lowers while the other rises.. even with equal gain or power.. I don’t want them to fade at all, I want both events to play at the same time so they blend evenly just as in Cubasis.. am I doing something wrong? Or does this not happen at all in cubase? If not that’s a shame that the least capable version does this by default and the one with more capabilities doesn’t..

sorry if I’m not explaining this as well as I should be but I’m confused and hope I’m not confusing anyone else..

ChatGPT tried explaining but it tells me if all else fails to try two tracks to do this.. but that’s how I used to do this back in SX3, but I’m thinking i shouldn’t have to use this work around in 12/13/& 14, or am I incorrect in my assumption?

thanks for any help in this

You are not doing it wrong. Cubase lacks this ability.
