I have recently completed a track and need to alter some aspects via mastering. I have exported the audio from Cubase 9 in the form of a wav. file but when I import into the mastering section all my pans have disappeared and the sound seems to be in mono. Any help would be greatly apprecitaed.
Maybe you accidentally exported it as mono?
Not sure what you mean by imported to the master section…you just imported the audio back to a Cubase track for further processing or something else?
I’d check the export dialogue window to make sure you have all the right boxes ticked. If you dragged the file make sure that you did not drag to a mono track. It sounds obvious but it is easily done.
