Cue note lyric

Is there a way to input lyrics separately for cue notes?
I want to directly input independent lyrics for cue notes.

How do I add hyphens to lyrics in cue notes?
The part marked needs ‘Je -’

You can choose to exclude lyrics from the cues in Engraving Options:

or to hide them locally in Properties panel if you don’t want this as a general setting:

And then, you can enter lyrics in the cues by using the caret (and rescale them if you want)

I want to add lyrics to a note that originally has no lyrics.

So you can do what I did here: enter lyrics in the cue bar, with the caret.

There could be another solution, but I did the same as here.

I got this by hiding the real lyrics in the cue, entering them in the violin staff with the caret up to the ru.
Then I selected the ru and set it to transparent (Color>Alpha channel =0)

I would like to add the soprano lyrics in the marked section.

@k.k, please don’t create multiple threads for the same issue. Thanks!

If I hide the lyrics, can I select the cue notes? only the large rest gets selected.

If you double click in the cue notes area, the caret will show up. Type Shift+L and enter your lyrics.

When I click on a cue note and enter lyrics, pressing Enter moves the cursor to the next bar.
Is there a way to move to the next note instead?

Since there are no (real) notes in the bar, I guess this is the expected behavior.
Just double click again where you want to put the next syllabe.

Thank you very much for your answer.

Is there a way to move the clef in the marked section in front of the barline?

Engraving Options > Cues > Clefs > Before Barline

Thank you.
