Cue notes Playback

I have a French Horn part cued in Alto Sax. but do not want the Alto Sax part to sound on playback. Using Dorico Pro 6 on a Mac and using NotePerformer. Is there a way to silence the Sax other than to create a new file and delete the cue notes?

The cue notes won’t be played, no need to delete them.

If you want to silence the sax, you could mute them.

Thanks for the response. I was hearing the Alto Sax notes on playback but I found the “Suppress Playback” option in the properties panel.

I guess you did not use Dorico’s very “Cue” feature (which would pull the notes from the cued instrument into the target system, but not play the notes) but instead copied the notes and reduced them in size?
