I’ve been having this problem for awhile, no matter what transport setting I use, the cursor always jumps to the head of the selected clip. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.
There is something called „Video follows edit mode“, I am not at my Computer right now, I do not know where to find it, I might check later.
Uncheck this option, that might help.

Yup, this is video follows edit mode. Under the project menu iirc. There is no indicator on screen for that unfortunately.
