Curve EQ 3.3 - Will It Work with Cubase?

Got an email from Voxengo today announcing a new version of Curve EQ that includes, among other things, VST 3 support. No doubt, lots of you got the same announcement.

Does anyone know if 3.3 can replace the Curve EQ that shipped with Cubase 7? My concern is that if I install it, maybe it will not only refuse to work but will render the current version that does work inoperable.

The version of CurveEQ that comes with Cubase 7.5 (and WaveLab 8/8.5) is already the VST3 version. These bundled versions are special versions and cannot be updated by downloading the latest version from the Voxengo website.
