Custom condensing change issue

At the beginning of a new page, I want to force Dorico to condense C.B. 3 and 4. They’re both playing the same low E, but 4 plays a Bartok pizz (eighth note) while 3 has a long note (arco) on the same pitch.

When I condense them, (i) the Bartok pizza indication disappears, and (ii) the rhythmic values of the respective notes become obscured. For some reason Dorico respells the whole note as two tied eighth notes, a quarter note and a half note. Which is unnecessary and which also renders the rhythmic value of CB 4 very ambiguous.

I just want the two notes to appear beside each other, with their respective articulations - any insights as to how this might be achieved?

Apparently, both parts are condensed as one voice. You could add a condensing change in which you explicitly specify to use separate voices (up/down stems).

That fixed it, thanks a lot!
