Hello Cubase community,
I am looking for some documentation on how to write “custom device script” which would appear in ‘device setup → +’ once place in the right folder. I would like to use such scripts to integrate my HW controllers with Cubase.
More precisely, I have recently purchased a StreamDeck which I successfully setup to control Cubase using a Generic Remote Controller but this isn’t enough. E.g. I can’t recieve information such as the name of the select track, and other state information / events from the DAW.
I am wondering whether writing a custom Device script could allow me to implement such logic into the HW - DAW interface.
