Custom folder structure resetting

Custom folders within my master template folder (where the .npr is located) are being deleted.

For clarity, the folders get deleted when the app is exited…

Hi,

Since Cubase/Nuendo 13, it deletes the folder, if you don’t save the project.

I just opened my template, rebuilt my folder structure, saved, quit the application and all folders are deleted. This happens when just closing the project as well.

How do you suggest I go about building my folder structure without it being deleted?

I’m not seeing a benefit of this “feature”… Now we need a tutorial to build a folder structure?

Hi,

It was working like this until Cubase 10.5. Since 10.5, there was a big introduced. If you create a new project and you don’t save it, the folder remains. This results in hundreds of “Untitled XX” folders. This bug had been fixed in Cubase 13.

I’m not sure what your point is.

This began happening with Nuendo 13. We can safely say this is a new bug introduced and an issue.

Is this on Steinberg’s radar to fix? A little frustrating having my custom folders delete…
