Custom Keyboard commands

Greetings,
I’m trying to create a keyboard command for “Create clip from selection” but this option does not seem available in the Custom Keyboard window. Suggestions?

Also, has anyone had success in creating a keyboard command that would put CD start and End marks around a selected clip. I’d rather not have to drag select the clip but merely select it with a mouse click.

Any suggestions or insights are appreciated.
