Custom midi remote pages missing

Hello,

I know some users have experienced this since Cubase 12. For me it started on a Windows 10 Business machine with Cubase 14.

I was under the impression this had been fixed with a Cubase 14 “hotfix.” Maybe I’m confusing that with another fix.

Nevertheless, the problem is as follows.

Since Cubase 14 (same machine) and now in Cubase 15, the connected MIDI controller loads, but the custom MIDI Remote pages are missing.

I’m not sure how to interpret this. The problem is that I can’t finish an important project without that customized MIDI Remote script. I usually solve my Cubase issues on my own, but I have a tight deadline for this project and don’t have time to troubleshoot.

Any idea what might be going on?

Just… ?

I need input regarding this issue. Has it been reported as a bug in Cubase 15? I cannot find any official information about it following the C15 release. If possible, could a Steinberg affiliate or moderator provide clarification?

Best regards.

If you start up Cubase 12 (instead) on your system and load your custom script that you previously saved in the past… is it all fine?

I don’t use the feature myself, but as you’ve not received responses from anyone who does, you may want to finish the project on an older cb version if your script works there…..and then pursue the cb15 answer direct with support instead of here.

No, it isn’t. My problem is that the custom pages I created are missing, even though they are present in the JSON file found in Steinberg\Cubase\MIDI Remote\Driver Scripts\Local. Hmm…

OK — Steinberg support next.

Thanks.
