I’m working on a vocal part that has singing and rhythmic unpitched talking. In Sibelius I notated rhythmic talking with (x) noteheads. I’d like to do the same in Dorico, but I can’t figure out how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Bill, you want to check out the custom notehead set editor. Some good YouTube tutorials on this, on the Dorico channel.
Edit: no need actually! These already exist. Select the notes you want to change, right click, Notehead, choose which notehead you want.
