Hello, all! I’m a longtime Finale user putting Dorico through its paces and I’m really enjoying the program; it’s honestly kind of exciting learning the ropes and seeing everything it can do.
One thing I need to do fairly often is export musical examples as SVG, and in Finale I would create custom page sizes which were then used for the SVG file. I’ve figured out how to get the custom size in Engrave mode and have everything looking just right, but when I go to Print (so I can export to SVG), it doesn’t carry over — exporting the SVG yields a very tall, mostly blank document with my example in the middle.
Is there a standard way to manage this so, for example, I can end up with a single system centered in a 6" x 2" SVG? I can bring the result into Adobe Illustrator and get everything fixed there but it would be nice to be able to do to it all in Dorico. Thank you!
