Custom Quantize Size

Hey everyone,

let’s say I have thousands of samples (events) that I’ve cut from recording sessions and I want to spread them equally. I obviously don’t want to do that by hand.

Every event is exactly one bar long and I want to have an empty bar between the events:
1 bar event / 1 empty bar / 1 bar event / 1 empty bar etc …

Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish that automatically?

Hi and welcome,

To split them (repeatedly), you can use the Split tool with the Alt modifier. Once the Alto modifier is hold down and you click to Split, the split is repeated over the whole Audio event/part.

How to make the Empty bars automaticaly, I have no idea, I’m sorry.
