Hello, I have a score with unique instrumentation. We have always done these in Finale and are now attempting to do them in Dorico for the first time. The first score page should look like this. (Pretty sure I know how to do this part.)
On pages 2 and following, is it possible to have a bracket to the left of the abbreviated staff names along with the groupings (1, 2, 3, 4) as seen here?

Hi @Scherzo_Trading, yes is possible:
you can group your players in Setup mode (select the players and click on the Add Group icon on the bottom left panel). You can rename the groups as desired:
Then set in layout Options the group labels to be shown (it should be already activated per default).
You have then some Engraving options that you can customise:
Then to hide the group labels from the first page, insert a system break at the beginning of the flow, and in the Properties panel, deactivate the group labels for that system:
Keep in mind that creating groups influences the bracketing in the score: you may want to force the desired bracketing in Engrave mode, with a manual Bracket change:

Actually, playing around with the settings I got it the way I want it except for the number rotation. Any way to turn the numbers so the are upright?
Unfortunately changing the orientation of group labels is not yet possible in Dorico. It has been requested before and acknowledged by the devs, so we’ll have to wait and see when they can squeeze that one in.
