Is there a way to change the wordings in the tempo markings. I couldn’t find all the musical tearms in Dorico 5. For example “Allegrando” And one more doubt Allegro Adagio etc means not a fixed tempo. If I can change the tempo in these settings that would be great Is there a way for that ?
In the popover (shift T) you can type whatever you want; also metronome markings ( 6= 112 for quarter note equals 112 bpm) In the lower zone (cmd/ctrl 8) you can adjust tempo markings and edit text( for example poco a poco ) etc.
Good luck !
Thank you very much sir I will try
Out of curiosity, what is Allegrando? I’ve never encountered it in 30 years of professional life as a conductor.
Actually it was Allargando I misspelled it sorry, after posting only I noticed it, sorry about that.
You can permanently add a custom tempo mark to the right panel with a doricolib file too, if there are some that you use a lot. I posted a walkthrough in this thread. They will work with the popover too. I mostly did it since I can never remember the appearance of certain diacritical marks.
Great Thank you
