Cutaway not working

Hi, I tread to use cutaway in this project and is not working. Could you help me please what am I doing wrong?

Unbeliaveble! I just made a fake new project with a couple of bars and random notes, and it works well. Not here:(

I made a brand new project, and copied the staffs one by one. So it worked. No idea what was wrong with the original one…

There’s a note in bar 1 and 2 scaled to 1 in size.

So I remove my previous post, it was not a rest but a note problem! I was actually selecting the whole area around the rests, so the small notes were selected as well, and by pressing delete I was unconsciously removing them!
