I’m having a problem with cutaways in Dorico 6.
I tested them by creating a new project, and they work fine. However, if I try to cut specific points in my score in a project where I’ve already written music, it doesn’t work, even though the cutaways are displayed correctly.

I honestly don’t know what causes the behavior… Using the library manager to reset to Factory defaults (and deleting all breaks and manual changes to the layout) leads me to this:

There’s obviously something causing a conflict…
Before sending the file, I removed the section text. I was hoping there was a solution that would allow me to apply it to the work I saved.

you have Multibar rests activated for the Full score (which doesn’t let the cutaways to be applied), just deactivate it and all will be good again:

Thank you This is my first time using cutaways, and I had no idea that consolidating the empty bars would render the cutaway unusable. Thanks again!
