Cutaways' behaviour with divisi

Hello,

In some cases where the divisi changes mi-system (for example from in 2 to in 3)

It’s useful to use cutaways. However, in Dorico, using cutaways with divisi staves has several problems :

1- it lacks another option in Engraving Options, where both the bracket and systemic barline are shown but not the initial clef nor the staff label. So a version of option 2 but with the bracket shown like in the 4th option :

Opt. 2 :

Opt. 4 :

2- When combined with divisi, cutaways duplicates staves labels of divisi groups : each staff affected by the cutaway, automatically gets its own staff label. So an additional option to locally control whether to show/hide staff label in the panel would help.

Exp. “Vl. II” below :

for now, I have faked the desired result by adding text frames (with white background) in order to hide both the additional staff label and clef+key :

It would be great, if cutaways + divisi behaviour, gets addressed in future versions.

Thank you,

JM
