When I edit midi parts with the scissor tool, I get some very odd screen behavior. Numbers get put all over the screen and it follows wherever the mouse gets moved to. See the pictures. Anyone else have that trouble? It’s only when I cut midi parts to comp a good take. It’s driving me crazy. I have to reboot to clear it. I don’t have any other odd issue like that when cutting audio tracks so it doesn’t seem like a display driver issue.
Any ideas?
It sounds like a system memory issue.
Are you using a lot of plugins?
How much Ram does your system have?
Running any 32-bit DAW will limit the amount of ram that the program can use to only 3gb, even if your system has more than that. 64-bit versions do not have that restriction.
It would be helpful if you could provide more details about your system. The best way to do that is to place the info in your ‘signature’ on this forum. To do this, first log in to this forum, then select User Control Panel above, then the Profile tab, then Edit Signature. Add the details there; they will then always show up on every post you make.
