Cycle function

Is there a way to disable the function whereby pressing and holding to select a clip also activates the cycle function? I need to tap and hold for a short while to drag clips but that activates cycle which is a pretty annoying feature. It happens repeatedly during an editing session and has a pretty major impact on my workflow as playback starts from an unwanted position.

Thank you for your message.

A long tap on an event automatically sets the L/R locators to the selection, including activating the cycle function.

To avoid this happening by accident, please try these steps:

  • Perform a short tap on an event
  • Release the finger, and tap again and move the event

Thanks Lars, starting to think my fingers are too big for Cubasis on an ipad but I’ll keep trying. Thanks for the info.

Normally it should work, but might require some muscle memory here and there.
