Cycle playback not working properly

I marked a cycle period ( on my IPad) , activated the cycle button and started the playback one bar before the cycle period ( marked with a circle). So the playback should play to the end of the cycle and jump back to the beginning of the cycle. But it doesn’t . It plays from the beginning of the score. What’s wrong?

Interesting, apparently Dorico gives first priority to the repeat marking and then to the cycle region in an alternate way:

in my example below, select the first note in bar 2, and click Play: Dorico at end of bar 4, will first jump to bar 1, and by the repetition will consider the cycle and jump from bar 4 to bar 3, then the whole procedure repeats.

When using the cycle functionality you may want to deactivate Playback Repeats from Playback Options/Repeats (you can use also the jumpbar to switch this option quickly without the need of going into the menus and dialogues).

Here a test file :

test looping vs repeat.dorico (1.4 MB)

And the behaviour with Playback Repeats activated (there is also some slight glitch, overlapping of notes on cycle beginning):

Thanks, but IMO Dorico has in this case a behaviour, which is not as it should be. The repeat signs are outside of the cycle markers. So Dorico should ignore them. And the glitches are just annoying.
