Most of the time if you’re inputting notes in Dorico, you can use TAB to cycle between notes and music items, e.g. notes to and from slurs.
However for me ( Dorico Pro 5 on a PC) if I change clef on a staff, that clef is highlighted, and TAB doesn’t move me back to the note so that I can continue input. Does anyone have any suggestions? I couldn’t find any posts on this. Thanks.
Tab seems to work for me (on PC)…can you describe your steps more specifically?
When cycling with TAB is not available, press shift-N to continue note entry. However, if you are entering notes and do a Shift-C to change clef during note entry, the clef will be highlighted but the caret will still be active. So you can just go on entering notes. But maybe this was not the case?
And it’s working for me now, both during and after note entry. I’m not sure what I was doing before…
